Message	Knowing where the cop is coming from serves no real benefit... if a cop is radaring in the area, you should be slowing down whether he's in front of or behind you. And every Escort does count warnings when they're set to Expert mode... you get multiple bars for multiple warnings (up to 4 IIRC... and if there's more than that, it doesn't matter much because 4 is a lot to begin with).
